What? Waldorf Preschool Teacher

A Spanish speaking Waldorf Education Early Childhood trained person who is passionate about bringing to life the spiritual and philosophical views of anthroposophy in a real life, grass roots, family and nature centered environment. We are looking for someone not only to nurture the unfolding of our children’s potential but also to support and guide our adult hearts back to the sacred essence of life.

Through the creation of a co-op, our families are committed to participating in the cultivation of a living, breathing culture, guided by the shared desire to nurture our children’s evolution and growth. Our vision is to find a guide to shepard a small group of children (and their parent’s) through a 1-2 year “Waldorf Preschool” format that will help nurture the unfolding of their unique gifts and authentic spirits. 

We are eager to connect with someone who is excited to travel and be part of a burgeoning community of like-hearted, earth loving families.

Welcome to your home away from home in a unique microclimate in the foothills of Costa Rica’s highest mountains, purest waters and biodiversity as a way of life. This is a land of total nourishment, abundant landscape and oneness.

We are part of a community of people that are drawn to living in harmony with nature. Enjoy weekly farmers markets, eat food from the land, go on endless hikes, and experience the inter-reliance of living together.

In walking proximity is an art and pottery studio, a cafe that doubles as a vivero (plant store), a movement space with classes ranging from high intensity and functional fitness, to yoga and breathwork. Our village is surrounded by farms, hot springs, waterfalls and a vibrant community of people from all walks of life and many parts of the world. 

Additional gifts of the place you will call home are access to permaculture practitioners and practices, weekly ecstatic dance, fresh foods, clean waters with most homes fed by an abundance of springs, world-class hiking, and healers with offerings ranging from bodywork, to acupuncture, women’s and men’s circles and Indigenous ceremonies and rituals.

We would like for this journey to be a long one, which starts with a first step that is a first year together.

A group of multicultural families living in the foothills of the highest mountains of Costa Rica. Forged between two powerful rivers whose indigenous name means “land of eternal waters” our highest desire is to nurture the sacred incarnation of our children’s unique spirits. With a strong commitment to re-wilding and reconnection to the rhythms of nature and indigenous ways of being, we are inspired by the system of anthroposophy and Waldorf Education.
